Time. One team.
A PLAN FOR THE LONG GAME
Time with a Doctor of PT
90 minutes on day one. 50 minutes at every visit after. 100% one-on-one with your Doctor of PT. Unlike other clinics where you get handed off to an aide, you get a dedicated PT for your entire session.
Built for the long game
We help you build strength, mobility, and confidence that last. Our goal is healthspan: making the quality of your years match the number of them.
One team, from rehab to results
Your PT and your coach share the floor, the client file, and the plan. When rehab ends, your next step is already mapped out: you move into training with people who already know your history.
Straight talk, honest guidance
We promise straight answers. You'll understand what we find, why it matters, and what to do next, so you leave with a clear plan and the knowledge to keep moving on your own.
Care that grows with you
Physical Therapy
a 90-minute full-body evaluation with a Doctor of PT, then 50-minute 1:1 follow-ups. We provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
1-1 Training
personal training with coaches who work alongside your PT, so your injury history carries over.
Move Without Limits
our semi-private membership, with a personalized program, a 5:1 member-to-coach ratio, 2 to 3 sessions a week on site, and a plan for the days you're not here. PT oversight is built in.
You did the work.
Something still isn't right.
“My PT spent 15 minutes with me and handed me off to an aide.”
“My trainer doesn't get my injury.”
“My insurance ran out before I got better.”
“I don't know what's safe anymore.”
“I finished PT and I'm still not where I want to be.”
“Nobody is quarterbacking my health.”
You don't need another rushed appointment.
You need time, a plan, and a team that talks to each other.
Don't take
our word for it.
“I feel better than I’ve felt in decades.”
“Gary… strengthened the whole system, and that really made the knee much stronger.”
“They address your whole body, not just where your injuries have been.”
─ Meniscus tear and knee replacement surgery
“They kind of changed my mind frame… you don’t always need surgery.”
“Reload is really great at educating all the clients on what they’re capable of doing.”
“I’ve done things that I’ve never done before, even with two good legs.”
“Now I’m doing over 200 pounds, and I’m barely 115 pounds.”
─ PCL, LCL and partial IT band tear, fractured joint socket
“I didn’t want to go and waste money on someone who didn’t understand what I do as an athlete.”
“Everybody was just really invested in my journey… that’s the big difference between them and a lot of PTs I’ve seen here in the city.”
“This is probably the best I’ve felt, body-wise, in a long time.”
─ Back sciatica
“This is the first place that has really explained to me my problem and given me a clear path to resolution without resorting to talking about surgery.”
“I never thought that I was going to get strong from physical therapy.”
“I’m not an athletic person… now that I’m doing it and making progress, I enjoy it.”
“You could waste months or years and a lot of money going to other physical therapists.”
─ Nerve pain in arm and neck with back pain
Real people,
back to what they love.
Young adult with chronic knee pain
WHO THEY WERE
Someone with Osgood-Schlatter in one knee and tendinitis in both. They had tried chiropractors, other PTs, and swimming, and estimate they spent $8–10K while their knees got worse for a year.
WHAT WE WORKED ON
A long first evaluation that covered their whole life, including diet and sleep. Dr. Ryan Chow looked past the knees, found weak areas in the core, lats, and calves, and strengthened those. The sessions were real training, not a sheet of generic exercises.
WHAT THEY CAN DO NOW
Their knees “started magically to feel better.” They’re deadlifting, running, and jumping again, the things they did as a kid.
Former distance runner after a partial knee replacement at 55
WHO THEY WERE
A longtime runner with compounding injuries: a torn meniscus, a surgery that didn’t heal, then a rare complication that led to a partial knee replacement at about 55. Other PTs worked only on the knee and got them to “basic functioning.”
WHAT WE WORKED ON
The whole system around the knee: hip, ankle, spine, and core, so the knee had less load to carry and could keep getting stronger.
WHAT THEY CAN DO NOW
Stronger, about 45 lbs lighter, more rested and energetic. They say they feel better than they have in decades.
Track athlete with sciatica
WHO THEY WERE
A competitive track athlete who ignored nerve pain in the back all season until getting out of bed was hard. They didn’t want to pay for a PT who didn’t understand athletes.
WHAT WE WORKED ON
Rehab and gym training coordinated directly with the athlete’s track coach, so the work in the gym and the work on the track lined up.
WHAT THEY CAN DO NOW
Back to bounding, jumping, and lifting with no fear of re-injury. They say it’s the best their body has felt in a long time.

Built by someone
who saw the gap.
Our founder, Dr. Ryan Chow, was a personal trainer for seven years. He watched clients get passed between PTs and trainers who weren't working together, so he became a Doctor of Physical Therapy and built the place he wished existed. That's Reload.
Our mission is to raise the bar for how physical therapy and fitness are provided, so people can do what they love.
9 Doctors of Physical Therapy and 4 trainers and coaches with credentials including CSCS, StrongFirst, RKC, USAW, and a licensed OT, plus a dedicated client experience team.

FAQ
-
No. Reload is a cash-pay clinic and does not accept insurance, so insurance rules don't limit your care. We also don't work with no-fault/MVA or workers' compensation cases. If your plan has out-of-network physical therapy benefits, we can issue a superbill on request. Reimbursement depends on your plan, so please check with your carrier.
-
You get 90 minutes on day one and 50 minutes after, all with a Doctor of PT and no aides. Fewer, better visits can mean less total time and money spent.
-
Many clients use HSA or FSA funds for physical therapy. Eligibility depends on your plan, so please check with your plan administrator.
Personal training sessions and our Move Without Limits program may qualify with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN). An LMN is determined independently by a licensed clinician and is not guaranteed, and your plan administrator makes the final reimbursement decision. We partner with Truemed to make this process easier: complete a short survey on the same day as your purchase to find out if you qualify.
-
No, you can start without one. New York allows direct access to physical therapy. A referral is only needed if care extends past 30 days or 10 visits.
-
Three parts: your story in detail, a head-to-toe movement exploration, and a game plan built around your life.
-
It depends on what we find. We lay out the plan and costs before you commit beyond the first visit.

Often, yes. That's the point of having PTs and coaches on one team. We'll tell you what's safe and what isn't after we assess you.
